Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I played for several hours with friends last week, and when I logged in tonight my only character was gone. I tried making a character of the same name and it did not allow me to. The characters name is Claymoore, Human Paladin. Any ideas? Can I get my character back?

Do you have any idea why the character is not appearing in the list for the realm?

I have tried a few things:

Restarting several times
Deleting WTF folder
Reinstalling
Logging in from a different computer
Making a new character to see if it persisted (it did)

I'm at a loss what to try now.

Other people with the same problem usually realize that they've been accidentally set to the PVE realm.

Can you confirm you're on the right realm?

Yes, I have individually checked all the available realms just in case as well.

EDIT: This is really perplexing. I have been trying again and again various different things and he is simply not there. A new character I made is still there just fine.

DO more troubleshooting.
Login & disable all addons, then restart wow.
If that doesn't work, delete/rename your WTF and WBD folders.

I'm not crazy... I have disabled all addons. Fresh install... My eyes are working fine. Tried deleting WDB and WTF. He's gone.

You might check your realmlist.wtf file to make sure you are logging into Nostalrius. If you had played on other servers with the same account name, it could be pointing to the wrong one.
