Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi there! I'm new to Vanilla, but very eager to try it out; however, I like to do my research! So, I logged onto the PVP server (Using a human Warlock, DaemonFallen), and went to Stormwind to ask some upper level players what they thought about the server.

I was talking to another player (Some rogue, I don't remember their name), and he gave it a stellar review. He told me to enter world chat, which I did; to which I was going to ask to everybody on there just a general question or two about what they thought about the game. I hit enter, was D/Cd, and instantly banned. I don't even know if my message went through.

It wasn't a very long message, but maybe my message in world chat triggered an auto ban, anti-spam-bot protocol? Don't see any reason to be banned for asking a question T___T I haven't even started leveling and I'm trying to test out the server so a few friends can possibly come join me! Please help!

you are correct, it's an gold-seller-spam prevention system (commonly known as Anti-Chinaman bot) which works really well expect for the false positive bans^^

just wait for a GM to reply (or create a new character and avoid chatting in global chats until you reach level 10 or so)
