Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I attempted to log into the game a few minutes ago and it says my account was banned. I'm not sure why this happened. The only thing that comes to my mind was my concern that someone may have gained access to my account information. Today I tried to change my password. Records should show that I even opened a ticket in game and spoke with a GM about the issue. He instructed me to the website to reset the password, but the email I received with a link didn't work.

My account contains two characters. Ephaitch (undead priest) and Tourier (tauren warrior).

Please do not tell me my account is permanently banned. I have so many hours invested into these characters and I did not do anything to violate any rules.

I don't understand. You haven't even said what I did wrong. What does gold trafficking even mean? I don't understand how you can just ban my account w/o any explanation of what I did that resulted in a ban. Not that I'm even going to play on this server again, but how does someone ensure that whatever you are claiming I'm doing, they aren't doing.

I think you at least owe me a detailed explanation of what I did.

I never did any of that. Why would I need to buy or sell gold.. Do you see my AH activity. I sell so much Dreamfoil and Plaguebloom on the AH. My account has 600g on it and hundreds of gold worth of herbs and cloth. I have no need to buy or sell gold. That is pure BS.

Luckily for me, I keep screenshots of my accounts for situations like this. How about we let the public decide.

What do you guys think? Do I have any reason to buy/sell gold? I obviously don't need to buy gold. I'm in a guild that is 10/10 MC, 1/1 Ony. I have epic riding skill on my priest. Pre-raid BIS and/or MC gear. 300/300 alchemy/herb and tons of herbs in my bank. 600g on my accounts is more than enough to buy anything I need in game and more importantly it's not enough to be in the business of selling gold.

The GMs haven't even said what happened.

Just as a last and final note from me until there is another official response. It is very discomforting to see how you guys can so ignorantly and hastily ban someone's account without any consideration for their efforts and time invested in the game. I'm not sure if its a power trip, poor leadership, lack of consideration, or what, but keep this up and as fast as Nostalrius became popular, it will become unpopular. You owe the community the consideration of stating specifically what you saw happen that triggered a ban. Furthermore, you owe the victim the opportunity to justify the action.

I realize we don't pay to play on this server and so you guys feel a sense of entitlement to do as you wish. But given the ignorant and hasty decisions made by management, I'm glad I never gave Nostalrius one dollar of my money.

I just double checked this ban, and it is confirmed.
The ban reason is "Gold Trafficking", ie being involved in forbidden gold activities (for most of the cases buying or selling gold).
