I was running bgs with people who paid in gold that was, in hindsight, purchased. Paid upfront for running to higher ranks. Doesn't that just make me the same as any person selling gear in PvE content? I thought I was in the clear for not actually purchasing being my only offense was jumping up the graveyard in WSG (which I stopped doing) and then I got hit with this. What is an acceptable purchase amount for something like this because I can't believe that accepting gold is a permanently bannable offense without running a complete background check.

What is considered a forbidden gold transaction? I never purchased gold, I was transferred gold in regards to pvp carries. Where the gold came from is the issue and if you're banning everyone associated with the gold then doesn't that mean anyone I've traded with has made a "forbidden transaction?" I'm really just expecting this overturned because as far as the guidelines go I've never done anything aside from jumping graveyards and safespotting before I knew it was a thing. I was paid in advance for expectation of weeks of farming battlegrounds, the price on that is high. I'm just saying that it seems like anyone who sells raid gear for 1,000 gold is just as guilty.

Okay, thanks for your unreasonable response and untimeliness in handling the matter in which I was banned for, I understand you must be busy if you're deleting any characters related to gold buying. Regardless if they are culprit or being victimized for legitimate trades. I've invested many hours to get to where I was and had a legitimate income from someone that was using an illegitimate source and I got permanently banned for it. Now for viper to come by and say "dont buy gold" and seal the thread.

OP stop being a dick to the volunteers who run this free server and maybe you would get a better response. Also it's pretty obvious you didn't read the terms of use or you wouldn't have all these questions.

You broke the rules. Your banned. Man up and accept it

Sounds like you understand perfectly why you were banned.

Not at all, that wording states that someone paid me with bought gold. That would imply anyone I gave gold to is equally guilty, thanks for your interest though!

How do you know if you're being paid with bought gold, though?

I found out when I got kicked offline and login said ban /: figured it was just a mule
