Banned, wondering why

Hello there,

My guildbank 'Descentbank' on your PVP server got banned this evening. After a very unlucky gold trafficking ban of the former guild master, I took this meassure of making the bank the new guild master to avoid such a problem again. Now I find myself in this situation, very unlucky. I had some of my officers donating gold for guild charter and tabard, and seeing a lot of people getting banned for gold trafficking I wonder if there has been a misunderstanding in this case?

Looking forward to hear from you.

Greetings,

Account unbanned, sorry for the mistake. We suggest you try to minimize use of chat channels, whispers, etc. on characters of level lower than 15.

Regards, GM Team.

Hi again,

I didn't re-enter the account since I wrote this thread - thank you for unbanning by the way. I tried to log on this morning to hand the guildmaster rank to my main account to completely lock down the chances of this happening again. Turns out I logged back on and got disconnected with a banhammer right away again.
Logging on to the Nostalrius website, says nothing about a ban. Was the ban not removed from a bot or whatever is used?

I really hope you can help to figure this one out. Thank you very much in advance!

Most likely you are running an addon that outputs a lot into a custom channel. If this is the case you will be unbanned again ofc.

It would probably be smart at that point to disable all addons for the charachter in question, at least until you've managed to hand over guildmaster. Then you can start figuring out which addon is the likely culprit.

Yeah, that could very well be a possibility. If that is the case I will do as you suggest. Thank you.
