Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Character name: Runccari
Server: Nostralius Begins PvP

Not really sure what I've done wrong here unless the issue is in the in-game name, which hasn't been banned on retail servers.

I have also streamed the game on twitch.tv but I don't think that this is against the rules.

I see the majority of bans have come from gold trafficking and I'm pretty sure when I am sitting on my 2 gold pieces, this isn't the case.

I read that if you post something on /2 trade chat under level 15 you might get tagged as gold seller etc. All I did was "LFG RFC".

If you view the Account Issues forums there is a very large number of players that are banned through the spam filter. On numerous occasions a GM has reviewed the logs and unbanned the account if this was indeed the case.

In your case, you were reviewed and banned for gold trafficking. That is completely unrelated to the the spam filter. Due to the large number of cases in both categories, I'm pretty sure the GMs can tell the difference between a spam filter ban and gold trafficking.

All I don't understand is on what basis or data are they giving the ban for. If this is not from chat logs, as in when I was looking for group on city trade channel, then what? I understand the GMs want to keep the servers clean off gold trafficers, but I'd be really interested to see what action caused the ban.

As I stated in my first post, I haven't had more than 2 gold on my lvl17 so I assume they haven't monitored the characters goldflow?

I know its bit silly to mourn over a lvl17 lost character but at this point its more of a matter of principal and its kinda off-putting to begin starting a new account when knowing this can happen again.
