While farming Devilsaurs i mined a Rich Thorium Vein on Fire Plume Ridge to notice that it didn't despawn after 12+ mines. Ive had cases prior where veins have spawned on veins and had multiple taps before so thought nothing of it. After a few more taps and then multiple people showing up and either killing me or taking the node out from under me (Horde and Alliance) i realized there might be something wrong along with what was being said in guild chat. I hearthed to IF smelted my bars (my mistake) as the server went down came up twice, I believe with the second containing the system message warning stating any more of the node farming would be banable.

Things i understand:
Did i mine during the "bugged" nodes? yes i did though Ive had multiple node spawns on top of each other before.
Did i stop prior to the system message stating i shouldn't do it? Yes i did.
I have neither attempted to hide (mailed or AH'd) what i mined nor sold for any profit as i assumed at the time i had done nothing wrong and when the system warning came up i thought we would be rolled back.

I'm Appealing for my account to be unbanned with my account rolled back or everything gained during the "bug" to be taken from me/deleted by a GM. I understand that while i did mine during the "bug" i don't feel like a ban for something that i realized to late is necessary.

1- No exploitation has been done after 15:12 server time (time of the system announcement)
* I stopped before the system message as per my post above.

2- All the exploited items must have been removed
* All the items are still in my Inventory/Bank, after trying to log in with some attempts being successful while others not i chose to wait playing another game until the servers came back up for good. At that time i was online for maybe 15mins and then banned, All items will be deleted upon the account being unbanned or a GM can remove all of the items. As stated above im willing to do all of this.

3- None of the items may have been traded, sold or exchanged. It includes using secondary characters as banks, trading item in the auction house, mailing the items, etc ...
* No items where sold, traded, mailed or AH'd it all still resides in my Inventory/Bank ready to be deleted.

4- The appeal must have been posted before the 1st January 2016
* Original post was almost immediately Christmas morning 25/12/15, with the edit being added Boxing day 26/10/15.

I appreciate everything the Nostalrius team is doing to look into this matter especially during the Christmas period.
