Banned. Herb bug.

Beskermer: 60war. PVP Server.

Yeah, I got banned. No shock after mining 20-30 thorium off one node.

All I ask is could a admin/GM please look at this and weigh this offence rationally.

BUT

I did this not knowing this was a bug, or a new way to combat gold farmers exploitation of the herbs/ores on this server.

YES I should have known (Assumed?) is was a bug. And it was not 1 node/herb. it was server wide. And this happened due to Nost trying to combat gold farmers.

1: Mined a thorium node in ungoro with 4 other players I got 20-30 thorium ore, 1 arcane crystal.
2: After considering this is a bug I stopped.
3: I opened a ticket after our guild guild leader warned us to come clean and bring this to the GM's attention
4: System message announcing the bug was announced 20minutes after I stopped mining.
GM Ticket = Hi, I would like to notify you I have mined 20-30 ore and 1 arcane crystal during the "bug" period" please let me know how this must be resolved. BUT this ticket was not handled as "we are experiencing a high volume of tickets"

So, lets recap.
1: I exploited a bug hoping this was actually a fix for combatting goldsellers.
2: I tried to bring this to GM's attention over my violation which was confirmed via system message.
3: After system message and a while prior to this I did not touch any ore/herb.
4: I did not try conceal this or "get away" with this offence.

I now find my account banned for a offence, the first ever on a server where I have played for 8 months.

No warning, no GM /w me to discuss this. Just BAM lets spam the BAN HAMMER.

So whats the solution?? Cause admit it, Nost did enable this bug on a extreme scale, people did not go out seeking it.

So solution
A: Mass banning of people? cause admit it hundreds of people herbed and mined in those 30min, BUT wait.... I personally know of 5 people who also exploited this bug up until the system message and even AFTER the message and nothing has happened to them. YET all of them like me they opened tickets. So, this seems to be a broken option.
B: Rollback?
C: Talk/Warn the offenders and delete the items?

GM's on this server are so hasty spamming the ban hammer without actually looking at the actual case or trying to resolve these issues.

Please reconsider the path taken and evaluate each case individually instead as to evaluate true offenders.

Just a update.

Having just spoken to <GM> Voltog in game less than 5min ago he asked me to please confirm/notify on my post that I did indeed make a ticket on "Kaalgat" prior to 16:00 server time in connection to the bug/abuse.

Hey nost admins! you can't just go banning people like that on the holidays especially that people who saw the system massage and stopped. it is very wrong that players like this guy get banned and many people who are offensive and down right obnoxious are still roaming the server, and hey he opened a ticket to let the Game Masters know what has happen and he wanted to wait for a respond that is helpful but he got banned first.

This would be why even after you guys had to change Project Mayhem into Onslaught to escape a shit reputation everyone still quit on you guys once the few good players who held the guild together left you guys holding you knobs in your hands. True show of your personalities.

If I am banned then I'm banned, but me requestring a GM to re-evaluate the ban has got nothing to do with you.

WOW what a nice reply where someone just reported a bug and instead of thanking him he will get banned for it?? that's really ridiculous.... I mean the guy was helping the GM to notify them about the bug by opening a ticket, unlike some other players who did not say anything about it and kept their loot without doing anything. At least before banning someone, talk to them about the case or try at least to resolve the issue. It is not fair to just ban someone like that..

All I can say is if someone who spend 8 months in this server and has a really good repetition with people just getting ban for one stupid arcane crystal which cost like 15g ??? you got to be kidding me ..

Well, what is there to be said. Its a shame that you are bannd but not because the punishment is injust, but because you are too greedy to not abstain from mining a node that is obviously bugged. You are a nice guy but the error is on you. EVERYONE realises that the nodes were bugged, so why did you abuse it?

You know what my guildies and other people did when they saw this happening? They took screenshots of EVERYONE collecting the nodes and posted it on forums or opened tickets to the GM, they didn't mine the node 30 times before "ASSUMING(lol)" that it was a bug, don't try to down play this shit on nostalrius staff (I don't even agree with most of the policies implemented and you certainly won't see me in this board trying to "troll" peoples threads) you abused a bug that problably just broke server economy for a good time (there's no way they are going to track every node collected down) and most important of all you gained an unfair advantage over other players by abusing said bug, you effectively broke the most important rule that makes the game fun and enjoyable: that is everybody is on an equal footing and rewards come from your skill / time invested in the game. Coming in here and down playing the whole deal is just insulting, even worse is that the Dynamic Spawn system was meant to counter the camping of Black Lotus and high-end herbs, increasing the spawn and the chance for everyone wasting their time collecting the herbs and making the market more accessible to others, you proceeded to make that an advantage for yourself.

I'm not trolling, your ban is 100% justified, if you can't see that then i'm trully sorry for you, I have about 10g combined in all my characters and I make sure to waste arround 150-200g per week in raid consumables, which I have to take my already scarse time to farm and prepare, yet you don't see me banned for abusing the spawns?

You have only your greed to blame for this situation you are in.
