As a long-time miner in Azshara you have banned me permanently recently due to the dynamic mining node exploit and I'm very disappointed in you and find it unfair. This i going to be a long post, I apologize for it but I'm here just to tell the story from my point of view.

Alot of people that know me, knows that I like to spend most of my spare time running around in Azsahara and mining. That's my main income to support my characters in any kind of pve enviroment and I enjoy it.

Todays Christmas eve was just another day in Azshara. After the restart of the server I just did my normal route. First 4-5 veins were working properly (despawning after 4-5 zips of mining). I had faith in the new dynamic respawn mechanics and I was hoping it was even directed towards mining nodes and herbs.

The fifth or sixth vein in Ruins of Eldarath (I gave the coordinates of it in GM ticket as soon as it occured and I'm sure you can confirm it) wasnt working properly. I noticed it after 9-10 zips (Yes, I regret I didnt stop after 5 but I didnt realize on the second that it was infinite, a glimmer of hope just thought maybe another one of the 26 locations in the zone just spawned on same spot), I wrote the ticket, moved away to continue with my route. I mined another 3-4 veins which were working properly and then I found the second bugged vein in the water, abit north of one of demon camps. I mined 6-7 zips again (From my experience in the past sometimes a vein doesnt disappear after 5th zip, but then the 6th zip will be empty, happens when you mount up too quickly for example) and I reported it in the Ticket. (The coordinates) Also worth to note that I never got a reply for any GM, after a while the Ticket was gone, but I'm very sure a GM actually did read through it. Sadly I didnt get a reply from a GM which I was hoping for, to get further instructions.

I moved on to mine maybe another vein which was working properly again. I remember that ,there was a server crash, I logged back in and moved to the lighthouse in Northeast, 5-10 minutes later a System message popped up. Despite there being a vein up there, I didnt touch it while it was mined at least 2 times by others in 15 minutes I believe. Also during all this time I was warning other people in world chat/guildchat and I'm petty sure your logs can confirm it.

I hadnt touched any vein at least 5 minute before the system message. I just left my character at the lighthouse in shadowmeld while trying to find further information. I never left zone, never traded anybody. I did destroy ore/dense stone/minerals but I cant be 100% sure it's the ones coming from the bugged veins or not, since I was there mining allready earlier during the 24th, few hours before the server restart. When I think about it now, Yes, I should have destroyed everything gained from the day, so it's up to you now to investigate it.

After that I tabbed out, was trying to find anything more interesting about the situation in forums and fell asleep for couple of hours. When I tried to log an hour ago, I noticed I was hit by the banhammer that has occured today.

So all I ask you to do is to go through what I wrote here. I can try to give you furter information and explain everything if needed. I wouldn't even mind talking to directly to one of you to explain everything, that would just make it easier for you to understand.
Several of your GM's should know me be my now. I have been in touch with some of you andreported at least 2 times earlier in the past 4 months about veins respawning after 45 minutes of time on same spots after 2 different server restarts/crashes, but later after another restart working properly again. I have also reported multiboxing miners in Azshara several tickets, which some of them have been banned I believe to make Azshara a better place for all the miners out there!

I do care alot about my account and characters, this game was a big part of my life and I'm very disappointed, frustrated, sad etc in the ban today despite I did write the ticket as soon as the bug occured to me, and I never intentionally abused this exploit. I would really appreciate that you go through my case!

My character involved in this was: Gammelmor, PVP realm.

He is actually a legit player, its sad to see legit players who actually put their will to report this bugs affected in the process of reporting it, and getting ban waved at the same time as the guys who intentionally abused the bug 100 times.

Hope you have luck and Gms look into each case even tho Christmas holidays.

you know nost devs, my guildie Gammel here was always very quick to praise you and your server in gchat. for what its worth i vouch his legitimacy. he would never put his account at risk by intentionally exploiting, he likes the game too much for that.

pls review his case and you will see he's innocent. he's one of the most kind persons i've ever met on this server and i'm sure he would never exploit/abuse on purpose.

I've come to know Gammel as one of the most kind and trustworthy people on the server. Abusing something like this simply isn't in his character, and I fear he has fallen victim to a detection algorithm that disregards anything but the character's net resource gain.

He was the first person I saw announce his suspicion of a major bug and tell us that he kept a ticket pending. He also continously kept warning fellow guild mates that logged on, as it after a while became obvious that nodes were indeed bugged and not just intentionally changed as part of the patch.

I'm positive that if you review his case, and got the logging tools available, you'll see he was one of the first people to submit a proper ticket report to you.

I really hope you as the Nostalrius staff review Gammelmor's case and unban him. I've known him for a little while and I know he is a good person and a great player to have in this community. He has been very friendly and helpful to people in my guild and it would be pretty silly to permanently ban him over something stupid like this when he was clearly trying to help report this bug. I can see he has put a lot of time and effort into his characters and loves playing here on Nostalrius, so I do not believe he would at all take any risks to abuse or exploit anything.

this is like.. the complete opposite of a christmas miracle.

my rogue got banned aswell but i feel even more sad for you because its your main account
