Account Ban Appeal

Hi,

I would like to request a review of my account that was recently closed.
Character: Sinnee
Server: Nostalrius PVP

I was last online in EPL collecting flowers, so must assume my account issues relate to this.
I can see that the server went offline to apply a hotfix to herb/ore dynamic system - when it came back up I continued to herb.
Obviously the very first node I hit struck me as strange, where I did tag that node 2 or 3 times total.
I would like to add that I proceeded to ride around EPL hitting each node once - as all were up.
There was a next a system wide message to stop as there were major bugs - I straight away stopped what I was doing.

My other guild members advised me that they had already created a GM ticket seeking advice - based off that, I did not create my own ticket at the time and immediately stopped + hearthed to await feedback.
As you can also see, this is my 1st forum post as I do not frequent them often at all so did not see the forum topic that fast.
Also did not sell/trade/mail or delete any of those items as I was waiting for advice from others GM tickets before taking any action - obviously I am more than happy to simply delete every item acquired during that time.

I understand how that sounds or appears, but that is all there is to it.
I would also point out a similar bug a few months back which had this GM response when it was raised via in-game Ticket -



It obviously does not relate to this specific issue at hand, however should be noted as I stopped as soon as it was mentioned system wide in game.

I hope you can review this case after you have completed the review of these in game issues on your side.

EDIT 1:

1- No exploitation has been done after 15:12 server time (time of the system announcement)
2- All the exploited items must have been removed
3- None of the items may have been traded, sold or exchanged. It includes using secondary characters as banks, trading item in the auction house, mailing the items, etc ...
4- The appeal must have been posted before the 1st January 2016

1. As above, I stopped as soon as the system wide message went out. I then hearthed to IF and logged out immediately without further action.
2. No items have been removed or deleted unfortunately, as above I hearthed and logged out after the message.
3. Nothing was sold or traded or mailed or exchanged or listed on any AH at all - as above, stopped and logged out immediately.
4. Appeal lodged within time frame.

For what it is worth, I can vouch for Sinnee as a respected player in the community and all around good person.
She seems to mostly spend her time talking to friends/guildies or otherwise gathering various mats for our guild.

Hopefully you can assist with this review as all the others who are in a similar circumstance.

I would imagine that a simple wipe of items would be sufficient in most cases.

Sinnee, you should take a crash course in security ...
It wouldn't surprise me the slightest if your password was also Sinnee, maybe spelled backwards for variation.

You have just posted your account name, which is half the information needed to hack your account. But that doesn't really matter, because your account name is the same as your ingame and your forum name.
It is just a matter of time before some Chinese hacker starts guessing your password - abd bang: you are hacked.

You will discover this some day when you suddenly can't log into your account, even you are sure you enter the correct password: you are temporarely banned while hackers are brute-forcing your password ...
