Account Ban Plea

Dear Nostalrius

I have found out today my Account/Character has been banned.

Character: Clovery, Server: PvP

Although i do not know why, i can only assume it was due to gold transfer/purchase. While i recognize that was wrong i still wish to plea for a second chance. i was stupid and make a stupid decision as i longed for the last small amount i needed for my much coveted epic mount.

Like many consumers today i of course did not read the terms and conditions but this does not absolve me of my wrong doing, but as i now know the severity of the punishment i know that i would never offend again and risk so much of my time and effort.

I am human and we make mistakes and although i have not had to pay for your wonderful service, i have put a lot of time, energy and emotion into my character and it breaks my heart to lose it along with all the great friends i have made.

I would understand if punishment is necessary if the account were to be suspended for some time or gold removed etc.

I make this plea with any hope that i may be given a second chance, i thank you for your help and plea for your mercy.

Banned for 'Gold Trafficking'. Does Gold Trafficking include simply receiving a low amount of gold once or twice?

I admit i purchased gold and it was a mistake, I have never sold gold or have been part of any large scale trafficking. I hardly think one offense can constitute trafficking.

Once again i am making a plea for a second chance. I recognize what i did was wrong but i am desperate to not lose all my effort and time for one stupid mistake.

"Second chance" is allowing you to play on a new account. They are (rightfully) not lenient in punishing those that buy gold.

Hopefully, that is a lesson learned for you.
