[Review | Denied] Why perma banned. and Sorry/GL!~

So, this is my last post. As appeal was denied, and I am banned for good.

This is what lead to me getting banned.

GM Tyrael. Sorry if I made your job harder with the constant pushing.

Mining in ungoro on my warrior (beskermer) prior to the "dynamic respawn" had 2 arcance crystal and 70 ore in my bags. Server reset and hey.. look rich thorium. Hit it 5x get 5x ore and 1 arcane crystal woot! but wait node didn't respawn, so I carry on, and then 2 people come mine the node I am mining. 1-2min later and about another 20ore I consider "shit.. this isn't right, somethings wrong here. This doesn't feel right" So I stop. I ride around ungoro crater for 20min picking pylon crystals to make buff gems for raid. I fill my bags then hearth.

14:55 I log over onto my priest (kaalgat) and decide to fly to winterspring to go farm some timbermaw rep. While flying to winterspring my guildies talking on TS and we all agree we all better make a GM ticket and report the bug and what we looted. So 15:10 I land in winterspring. 15:12 System message comes out while I am typing my ticket. I submit my GM ticket
Ticket: Hi, wanted to inform you that I came across a bug node in ungoro crater while mining on my alt. I mined about 20-30 thorium ore and 1 arcane crystal. Please advise me on what I should do?
Ticket say below: We are experiencing a high volume of tickets. This explains why no answer. I will keep ticket open and hopefully hear from them.
15:35 I log off my priest and onto my shaman (all these toons on the same account, so the ticket is still active on my account)

I run some DE East with 3 guildies on my shaman (sangoma). We ran it 6x. I get 2 arcane crystals about 55 thorium.
So, at this point still on answer on the GM ticket. Time now is about 18:00. So I figure they still have a backlog and I will try again when they not so busy.

I log off of wow to go have dinner and watch a movie. (never logged back onto my miner since logging off it 20min prior to system message)

19:30 I log onto TS and try log into WoW.
"This account has been Banned" Wow.. 4 hours after system message I am banned.
Ask my guildies, 3 of which also picked herbs/ore during the bug.. I ask them if they banned.. Nope, nothing.
2 of these guildies only deleted their items 18hrs later. 5 days later no ban still.

So. I make forum thread. I ask about this issue and blah blah blah...

I make another account. I log into WoW and talk to a GM. He said "you had a ticket open about the bug and you admitted what you looted, this is confirmed. Just let the GM on the forums know and it should be fine.

Add comment to my thread explaining all of this. And also about the GM who I spoke to about the ticket.

During my talk with the GM in game, the GM's on the forums decided to put up the 4 conditions list on what to do in order to appeal.

Ban confirmed!!!

At same time my guildies over TS tell me they talking to a GM about my situation. The GM says that it seem the GM on the forums didn't understand my application or a misunderstanding. Redo appeal and it should be ok.

I make a thread appealing.. since we allowed to make an appeal.The reply I got to my appeal? Just a link to my first thread denying me.

So yeah.. No I wasn't intentionally exploiting. Yeah ok so technically I did exploit, but this wasn't my intention, and it was done unwittingly. After 2min that's when the penny dropped so I stopped. Could have carried on for another 40min.

So yes, the potential was there to over exploit the ore. Yes it could have harmed the economy. But unlike someone I know who picked 600+ dreamfoils, I picked 2 stacks ore.. I never sold it or crafted with it. I was to scared to even touch it once the system message was announced. What if a GM wanted to observe me destroying it.. or what if I had to hand it over to a GM? I decided I wouldn't take any action unless a GM instructed me. And due to me not deleting the ore I void my chance for appeal. Shit.. what if a GM said I could keep it like some did to other players? (wish they announced for us to delete the items in that system message)

And yeah... if I wanted to harm the economy or get rich, could have gone and picked black lotus or herbs... not mine a thorium node for 2min then stop. So please. No trolling or "chinafarmer" or "exploiter!" or "OMFG you should have known it was a bug node when you got your 6th ore!!"

So. Now thanks to a bug caused by nost on a global scale I unwittingly "exploited" and now deserve a perma ban. So, Yeah its been fun, and it distracted me and helped me cope. (helped me escape some really fucked up things that happened in RL)
And yeah guys.. admit it or not a lot of people hide inside this game. some to deal with RL, some to escape RL, some trade 1 addiction for another.
All I wanted to do was explain what lead me to "permanent ban" status. So, no. I wasn't trying to get rich, so don't judge so quickly cause (Robotron, Ixl, Bockhorn, You guys just kicking people who have already been beaten. Doesn't make you look good in game. A lot of people read this and recall this shit)

Thanks Nostalrius for a awesome 9 months, its been fun and regardless, its still a awesome server. More PRO than CON. (I just refuse to level up another 5 60's and regrind all that rep and gear when I lost all the previous work I put in for a lousy 4g in thorium and 1 arcane crystal. Could happen again without me knowing it)
GM's, regardless of the fighting over ban. Thanks for all the hard work you do for making this server what it is.

To all the guys and the girls in Rage guild. Thanks for so many laughs and thanks to all the others I ran into on this server who made it a pleasure.

(funny thing is... I spoke to my guild leader 2 days prior to this bug and said I wanted to donate $100 to the server and maybe a GM will let my other TF binding drop...Good thing I didn't!~ lol) (no really.. true story.. promise~)
