Hello, i recently got a temporary bann, yes i know its only temporary but still. it is winter vacation and i currently live abroad so i am very bored, how many times can a man binge watch all 5 seasons of breaking bad on netflix! haha.

Anyway i was told i got a bann for impersonation a GM.

I can't even remember which incident is being taken into account for this action but i can say for sure that if i was ever thought to be impersonating a GM it was only as a joke. I am a very sarcastic person and this does sometimes get me into trouble.

I apologize for this and will make sure not to joke about being a GM again and would like to get back to grinding my alts to 35 haha.

well, i did say i was very sarcastic, and besides to me it seemed formatted in a way that would be taken as sarcastic, and if i remember correctly other people were saying similar things as well, like needing his credit card information. So considering the scenario of the conversation and number of people who were acting similarly, why was i singled out?

How do you know you were singled out?
People get temp bans, sometimes perma bans, for making jokes about selling gold. It's in the TOU that you will face some sort of suspension for impersonating staff.

Yes i was quick to assume i was the only person potentially suspended for that conversation.

Again i apologize and never had any intention impersonating a GM seriously.

I suppose a lesson learned - However they will not remove the temp ban or they would have to do the same for many other temp ban offences.
