Why did I get banned?

I just got banned around 1:10am and I have no reason why. Events leading up to the ban was: Talking to about 4 people about what proffessions to use and then decided to go to ironforge to look around while following my quest addon. Says i've been perma banned when i've just started playing today? Also why have i been banned and can u overturn this cause even if it was a mistake for something it just started playing but i havent done anything to violate the game.
