Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi! First let me take a moment to apologize for taking the time out of your schedule to handle my appeal.
Alright so let me start from the beginning. I recently stumbled across Nostalrius a few weeks back and its been a great time. I had forgotten the grind and how frustrating it can be a times. Due some foolish thoughts i found myself onto a gold purchasing website. Upon reaching this website I was immediately prompted to list my Character name and my email which I didnt believe that i was purchasing anything. I backed off due to fear of losing my account. I return back to playing regular and about 4-5 days later I notice some mail on my Character named Brosephs and i click and its clearly a random name generated just to mail things here and there. At first i thought it was just a mistake that i received it due to a mistype from the seller. My mistake was taking the gold out of the mail regardless. I should have left it, reported it, and went on my way. I check my email after and I see that the website (which is "Nostalrius.net" by the way) had sent me like a 50g bonus for signing up to the website but i had no intentions of doing that. I went about my actions in all the wrong ways i'm very sorry because this server is amazing and the work, detail, and love that the GM's provide is great. I understand that you might not know where my gold went or were that gold that was sent to me went so if there is anyway i can access my account again id delete everything from my characters, all around, from the items they have on to the items in banks just as if it was a level 1 character starting all over with absolutely nothing but a backpack and a hearthstone. Now for me being so silly with my actions i understand that an irreversible ban is quite fair and if my characters cant be restored than maybe they can be deleted in so that i can reuse the names? Anyways to the Nostalrius staff and GM's im sorry breaking the ToS period and i want to show you all that i know thats not the way the game is meant to played and that I can demonstrate the proper manners of a rule bearing player.

Even if your story is true, a huge if since it isn't very plausible to be honest with you, it is obviously 100% impossible to distinguish from you buying 50g to the investigating GMs. The ban will stand, I'm certain of it.

Further they will not free up the name. They do not ever do that and you are far from the first person to ask.

Your only possible chance at redemption after foolishly accepting the mail would have been to open a ticket right away, explaining your situation. Perhaps the GMs in that situation would accept that for a split second one might just accept the free gold without considering the consequences. As it is, I'd figure out a new name and start leveling on a new account and stay away from the gold selling sites.

As tinker stated, the ban will likely stand. Cant count how many times I've seen, "accidentally hit accept from random person" which in itself is very fishy. That being said, you Said you only recently started, you are free to create a new acct at any time. Best of luck

Even if your story is true, it's still pretty cut and dry. You got gold from a goldselling website, you get banned. Nost doesn't delete characters in order to free up names.
