Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

For some reason one of my accounts has been banned, I've done nothing wrong, all I did was asked about levelling guilds in the trade channel and boom I can no longer use that account and it has all my gold and stuff on it so I can give it all to a new character on my main account. I didn't do anything wrong at all. I demand to know why this account of mine has been banned.

If the character was below lvl 10 it most likely got caught by the anti gold seller spam filter. Just give the GM's time to look it over, you should be fine.

Also you probably shouldn't "demand" anything from admins that do this on their free time and reserve the right to ban for any or no reason should they choose

Erm could you rephrase that? I did not understand what you meant by that.

Using the chat channels below level 15 (not 10) may cause false bans by the spam detector.

If this is the case, you should get unbanned as soon a GM reach your request in the queue.
In the mean time, remember GMs are doing this in their spare time, so to "demand" anything here doesn't work

Also, it is highly recommended you do not use chat channels before you have reached level 15 to avoid being banned, exactly what just happened.

So are you suppose to make a GM ticket in game with an alternate account?

You said you demand to know why your account was banned, this kinda comes across as asshole-ish to the staff that does this on their own time for people that play for free. Chances are, as Glen said, it was just the low level spam filter you got caught in so you'll be unbanned. Just trying to help, you don't want to sound entitled in your appeal lest an admin decides "well this guy's a dick, ban stays"

No, creating a post here with your character name + realm is fine, just as you have already done.

I didn't know, this is the first time I've been banned falsely.

It's fine, just trying to help. The low level spam filter can be a pain as new players are likely unaware. Chances are it shouldn't take long once a gm reviews the case
