Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I was banned today for an unknown reason. I logged in to my level one orc and decided i wanted to join an RP guild with my friend right away.

I went to orgrimmar and tried using /1, /2, /3 and /4 to find a RP guild but it kept giving me an error saying my level was too low, which i assume is a feature to stop spambots. Anyway i typed /4 and pressed enter to enter the channel and was instantly disconnected and upon re login i discovered my account had been permanently closed.

Really not sure whether this is due to my semi-innapropriate name at the time (SemenDemon) or a feature to deter level one spambots. If this is due to my name then that's a bit of excessive punishment don't you think?

Remove your account name - all GM's need to know is your character name and realm.
The account name is just half the information hackers need to get into your account.

Now .. it sounds like you were banned by the spam filter. If this is the case, then GM's will unban you when they reach your request in the queue.

It is recommended you don't use the chat channels until you are level 15 to avoid (false) spam bans.
