Banned for using trade on level 1

Hi there,
My account just got banned due to the tradechat thing where under level 15s get banned. I had no idea this was a thing, and I just wanted to ask a question, and making a level 1 orc and walking to org was faster than getting there on my shammy. Is there any chance I could get unbanned?
