On Sunday I appealed my ban on the grounds that a previous GM forum post indicates family members sharing accounts was permissible. I was told that this forum post was outdated and never valid. I question how I should know when a GM is posting incorrect info. There was no follow-up response in the thread indicating that GM was incorrect. There is nothing which obviously outdates the information, either. Why is information expressly stating it does not violate terms of use to access family members' accounts, which leads to an immediate ban for any player unfortunate enough to read it, allowed to remain on the forums unaddressed since August?

The ToU clearly states that sharing account is not permitted, and have always done that.

I highly doubt any GM has said sharing accounts was allowed - can you show the sourceplease?

The post you're referring is from last spring, making it quite old. It has now been edited for accuracy and no longer contains false information. Furthermore, our terms of use override any individual post by a staff member. Thus the accounts in question will remain banned.
