Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hey Leythia,

I saw that you said I had been banned for botting. Which is not true, I have never botted or used a single 3rd party program ever in my mmorpg career. I fish and gather herbs often, as they are my gathering professions, trying to get money for my epic mount. Why did I get flagged for botting, could you please review this again? I have no addons for fishing and none that are against the rules. I believe this ban is a mistake.

Hi Nostalrius Staff,

A terrible mistake has been made. Oloryn is very dedicated and diligent in earning gold for his epic mount. He fishes frequently and gather herbs. We have been playing WoW (first retail and now on nostalrius) for over 6 years. During this time he has never once used a bot. He knows the ToS/ToA and is constantly warning guildies to be cautious when he thinks they are doing something that could be a bannable offense. Thank you for your time and any further consideration given to this matter.

In one of your posts in the other thread you made you said he went afk and got questioned by a gm during that time. Was his character still fishing while he was afk?

No, I was not fishing, I had gone afk next to the water to go pick up my dinner. When I had come back, I was disconnected, I then tried to log on and it said I was banned. I do not have any addons that help me fish or auto-lure my fishing rod.

Well, hopefully they will do a second review for you then.
