Got banned for using a macro..

Hi, i just got banned for using a macro to snipe Neutral AH. I was almost sure that this is against the rules and terms of agreement.. So here is what happened, a took of some bijous then got random DC tried to log back in couldn't do it for 5 minutes for some reason then i logged back in and a Gm started talking to me and said something like "you bought item immediately" i replied yes it's a macro and he said that it was considered a bot?
Could someone please explain why i got banned and if using a macro to snipe off peoples items on AH is bannable or not ? please and thank you

Did you physically click find spot it and buy it? If not its a bot that is making the purchases for you and is against the rules.

Are you sure that "Anetta" is the name of a character on your account? I checked on both the PVP and PVE servers, and the accounts with a character of that name has never been banned.

I have just made a video on youtube showing me snipping items showing nothing fishy in the background.. no third party software and disabled addons and only the use of a macro.. i already submitted it to the GM who banned me should i also PM the link to you ?

I hope any such AH sniping falls under the Fizzy Lifting Drinks clause and ensures YOU GET NOTHING!

GMs shoot first, ask questions later. I was banned for the same thing. Luckily I had nothing on that account so I didn't appeal it. To me it just looks like people are using GMs to ban people so they can transfer.

What really sucks is that a GM thinks i'm botting.. i tried to give him the macro to use him/her self according to them it doesn't work what amazes me is that they're unaware of the macro so they automatically think its a bot. And what sucks even more is having to wait all this time not knowing the fate of your account even though I submitted solid evidence that there was no third party software's included and all done by me physically via Video.. And i'm still waiting for their answer ;(
