My friend just started and got banned?

Did your friend use public chat by any chance? If so he may have been snatched by one of the anti-spam filters in place.

Using a public chat when below level 15 can result in an anti-spam filter banning the account.

Please remain patient. The investigations that the Game Masters perform can take days or weeks, depending on the amount of investigations they need to perform.

Alternatively you can create a new account(since the character was only level 5)
