7day ban appeal

My account just got banned for 7 days for "Abusing elixir of dream vision."
Couple days ago I bought mats for 30 elixirs just to explore with them and shit. This a video of what the elixir is supposed to do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HR5Um83l_-0

An hour ago, some people kited Azuregos to ashenvale and he got bugged out during a phase transition and is stuck in some weird phase where you can only see him with eagle eye/farsight. Me and my friends were trying to find him and reset him somehow with eagle eye and farsight. I still had the elixirs in my inventory(unused thus far). I used one of the potions and it spawned a Vision npc or something(Pot seems completely bugged I guess??) and the vision killed a level one and then attacked a level 25 then Sigu level 60 warlock put some dots on my "Vision", got flagged and got killed. btw, I'm a disicipline priest, I didn't even attack the warlock all the people around me did.

Basically I got banned for using a potion I didn't know was bugged and had no way of knowing was bugged and no one I know has ever used in the game period.

So.. You popped a pot, NPC spawned and it started killing people just like that?

Or did the players who got flagged have to attack the NPC first?

Either way, kinda shitty that you get a 7 day suspension for this if it indeed was accidental (I believe you when you said it was).

On the other hand, I'm not sure how this is going to be handled if it can be abused... I mean if someone was indeed abusing it and just claimed it was an accident and got off the hook just because of that, that would suck too.

Ah well.. Good luck with the appeal, I hope the GMs can figure this one out and be fair.

yea the guy that got flagged had to attack the npc, the level 25 that the vision was attacking didnt even die from what i remember

How can this even be "abusing" when the guy had to be stupid enough to attack the NPC to get flagged?

hahaha better ban everyone who finds a bug instead of fixing it...
Atleast its only a 7 day ban the appeal would probably take longer than the ban lasts

Greetings,

A player does not need to attack the summoned NPC.
It got spawned and immediately tagged all players in range for PvP.

It is the players responsibility to report bugs & keep himself updated about bugs.

This ban will not be lifted.
