Account banned a while back. Still not sure why.

I am posting because after trying to return to this server (currently lvl 15) i notice that all of these people that were in clear violation of the rules are being unbanned for shit that they knew would get them banned. yet my priest that i leveled from the start of this server was banned for "account selling" at the time. At the time I was furious about this because not only was I one of a fuckload of people that got hacked that week but i was also banned for selling my account. I dont know if the site had a vulnerability at the time before it was changed to what it is now or (what i think happened) i downloaded a specific, hard to find add on with a key logger. I wasn't even given evidence of why they thought my account was banned or know how the hell you would even sell an account on this server, or who would buy a shit geared priest with no gold and 40 mount. I just want to play on this server again and really don't have the time to level again if i want to play with my friends on here. At the time i really didn't think anything would ever be done and still don't but i think its ridiculous that my priest was hacked and then fucking banned on top of that. The moment my RL friends from retail vanilla make it to 60 on here I sell my account?!?! it just doesnt make sense. I finally somehow remembered my info to get on here to see what i can do about this and wish that someone could just help me out. Its pretty fucked to for me to see all these greedy fucks being on characters in clear violation of server rules when my account was straight up stolen from me.
