New player banned?

Hey guys,
Started playing here on release and didn't really have time to commit to the grind so I ended up taking a break and just started back up again recently. I was slowly progressing through with some help of friends and I suddenly got banned today at level 19 after a Warsong Gulch. Now the only thing I can think of is the 2 people I met in game who gave me a couple gold each to help me out (I would see this as just people being kind) and then someone mailed me like 103 gold with some random greens. Idk who the person is that mailed me and I've never even spoken to them before. I ended up spending about 3-4g of that 100 which I realized I probably shouldn't have since even taking it from the mail was shady enough for me. I've never met this person before or even spoken to them in game so thats why Im kind of confused. I guess the greed got the better of me in the heat of the moment.
Anyways, I was wondering if you guys could like.. reverse my character and/or remove the gold so I could continue to play if possible? The last thing I want to do is break any rules here on the forums or in game and I hope you can see that this was indeed a mistake.
