My account was Banned...

Good evening (or morning or afternoon),

I attempted to log on today (Sunday 2/21/2016) and found that my account had been banned. My main character is named Rawth and I am on the alliance side of the pvp server.

I was hoping that someone could review this, as I am unaware of any wrong doing on my part.

I would also like to bring up this quote from the earlier instructions about banning:

I have underlined the section that I wish to also bring up, because on my homepage it does not give me a reason:
"Hello <Account Name>!
Your account has been banned permanently.
You can ask for a review of your case in the Account issues sub-forum specifying a character name or create a new account to play by our rules."

So I would like to know the reason first, and then appeal that reason.

You were banned for Gold Trafficking. If you wish to appeal this ban, please do so in this thread and list any and all transactions that we might find suspicious as it will speed up the review process. Or you can confess and save our time.

Hello Pottu,

Thank you for informing me on the reason for my ban. I would like to start off by saying flat out I did not buy any gold. I did, however, recently receive gold from a coworker of mine in the real world. We were playing together and in the same guild, but he just purchased Legion and 3 additional lvl 100 boosts for his retail account. He informed me that he was going to stop playing on Nostalrius and focus on gearing up his new retail toons for Legion. He asked if I wanted any of his gold he had on Nostalrius and I said yes so he gave me all the gold on his account.

Sorry to bother you again, but I though of more information in reguards to the 'trafficking' statement addressed in the post from Pottu.

After I received the gold from my coworker I did mail it off to two of my other toons so they would have money as well.

Later that evening I also paid for some instance runs, amounting to 20 gold and bought some bags off the auction house. These are all the transactions I can recall for the incident in question.

I just wanted to see if there was any update on my review. It has been a few days now since I had heard anything and wanted to just check how everything was going.

I'm still trying not to pester you all, but i have heard nothing about my appeal in a few weeks now...

If any of you would just respond to me, that would be awesome. Something to let me know you all didn't just tell me 'we'll look into it' then toss my appeal in the garbage... because that is what this feels like.

It did say in the message about posting here that appeals could take up to a few weeks to process, but it also shows a good 90% of the other messages from that same time as already locked by the GM for a final decision; be it good or bad, at least those ppl have some closure...

All I'm asking for at the moment is for some response from a GM. And it could even be something as simple as 'we haven't got to you yet and were still looking into it' anything would be accepted right now... I just feels as though you all didn't even check my situation.

Some reviews take longer time, some don't.
