Account banned?

Hello Nostalrius GM,
I just wanted to inquire as to why my account: 0--snipped-- was banned. I've been a member of the server now for almost a year and to my knowledge have always been diligent to follow all server rules. Any information you can give me or if the account is recoverable, please let me know. Thank you.

Provide >character< name (keep account name secret) and what realm (pvp/pve).

The account was banned by our chat spam system. Please try to avoid using public chat channels on characters less than level 15.
The ban is under review.
