Banned for doing addons wrong?

I think I put addons in the wrong area I put them into Interface then addons just copy and pasted the files. and I logged on to set them up (I am only level 3) and I got banned. I just wanted to play.

Putting addons in the wrong location won't get you banned. Your account got banned because you tried to use the public chat channels on a low level character and our chat spam system banned you. Try to limit the use of public chat channels on characters of less than level 15.
