Account Comprimised Appeal

GM Team,
Late last summer / early fall my account "with the character Antidote" was hacked due to a key logger I acquired when searching out an add-on to help with tanking for my guild at the time. When I notified your team that day finding that my info had been changed the account was locked immediately. I was however never allowed to use the password recovery via email and subsequently the account was permanently closed due to account being "Compromised." When pressed why, the GM said
that the team had little to no information why it was permanently banned but only for the reason stated above. Shortly there after my wife and I quit the server due to the immense loss of time and effort put into your rendition of a once great game.
Recently we contacted a couple of friends who so happen to still play on Nostalrius. Upon happily reuniting with them and explaining why we quit in the first place they have pushed me to "Appeal" what they said was, and I quote "A lackadaisical mishandling of account abuse and customer service."
My account was banned due to trying to better my ability to play my class through proper and legal use of a tanking add-on which led to a key-logger being injected into my computers coding. When pressed why I was given a short one liner about a "comprised account." Please right a wrong and review/life an unjust ban so my wife and I are able to once again play with our many friends with not only her original character but my own.
