Accidently vendored an item I was trying to sell long term.

by Sebajun » Wed Mar 09, 2016 7:30 pm

Hi guys,

Not sure how much you help with issues like this but here goes anyway. I've got a post here https://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=37128 about some bracers I've been wanting to sell on a long term basis. Long story short, I log on today and somebody whispers me asking about the bracers. Turns out I vendored them last night accidently whilst getting rid of all my trash items, is there any chance you could restore them for the purposes of fulfilling this transaction? The guy that wants to buy them is called Defuse if that helps verify my situation.

Character name: Sebajun
Faction: Alliance

Thanks in advance,
Seb.

GM's does not restore lost items, except for epic quality items caused by server crashes, and that does indeed not seem to be the case here.

They don't restore items like this. Your bracers are gone forever.

The thing is, as outrageous as this sounds, I'm not entirely sure it was me vendoring them. I have 0 recollection of doing so and would not have done so intentionally because of my wanting to sell them long-term. If a GM could verify that I did indeed vendor the item then I'll accept my fuckup. I was however kicked out of the game due to a crash and a rollback did happen so I don't know.

From https://en.nostalrius.org/terms-of-use

"We do not recover any lost items or currency except raid items with the rarity of Epic and above which can be restored in the case of a Server crash/roll-back, providing an in-game ticket is sent to us which fulfills the following conditions:

We will not restore the lost loot if the ticket does not meet all the requirements. Falsified information will lead to immediate account closure.
Exact date of the raid;
Screenshot of the raid ID;
Screenshot of the loot & complete list of raid members;
Name of the player who received the item."

Unfortunately, even if your item mysteriously vanished after a server crash, it looks like unless it happened during a raid you might be out of luck. Your best chance would be to provide as much concrete information as possible, including screenshots of your bags and the item before and after the crash

If someone else vendored your item, then consider yourself lucky you weren't permabanned for account sharing or a compromised account.
