Account hacked

My account with Redshadowz on it was hacked, had my gold ninja'ed, sometime in the last 24 hours.

No telling how they got the password. Computer is virus-free, and don't go to disreputable websites. But, I do tend to use the same account name and password combination. Its the same username/password combination I've used in the past on other wow servers(though I haven't played on any other server in over a year).

In any case, I'm not even that mad about the gold being hacked(although it was a lot of gold), I didn't exactly do that great a job of protecting myself, and this is a free server after all.

I'm mostly irritated because I can't seem to figure out how to change my password. If I login on the website and go to account, it gives me no options at all.

Go to Nostalrius.org, press login, Press Forgot Your Password? , Put in your Username + E-Mail and that should work. If you are encountering some error on these steps I can only suggest testing a different browser, maybe your cache is screwing with the site somehow.

I can almost guarantee shitstain servers like feenix have already tried to fish for accounts here using their database. RIP

Please make sure your E-mail is secure, that there are no keyloggers or other malware on your computer, and then change your password using https://en.nostalrius.org/password. Make sure your password is different from that used on other private servers.

We cannot return stolen items to you, but we are tracking down the perpetrators. All gold obtained from these hacked accounts is traced, so anyone who purchases gold from these gold sellers will be banned.

Note that your account is not banned. We advise you secure it ASAP as continued compromise can result in a ban, especially if the hacker takes actions on it that lead to a ban (like advertising for gold selling sites).
