Account Appeal Upon New Reason for Ban

Hello Nostalrius GM's,

I am opening a new appeal regarding my account closure due to news that GM Viper had given me via PM. He stated that the initial reason for my ban was MISTAKEN but was primarily due to "scamming."

Viper wrote:Greetings,

The ban reason isn't right. Your account has been banned for scamming.

Best regards.

There are two parts to this thread: 1) my reason for 2nd appeal 2) explaining my appeal for accusation of "scamming."

My initial ban was issued on March 10, 2016 due to a "compromised/shared" account (https://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=37565). I know the Term of Use thoroughly and would not risk my account by any means by sharing my information and character with anyone. Account compromised/hacked by someone was also extremely unlikely due to my graduate school's reliable and secured network where it is thoroughly monitored. Safe connect (one of the programs required to install by the school) checks our computer for security flaws prior to allow access to the internet. In addition, I am logged on my character throughout the day so I did not experience any unusual activities occurring (missing gold, missing items, etc.)

I made an appeal (viewtopic.php?f=65&t=37623) and provided ample proof and evidence that wasn't the case. GM Pottu requested my addon list which I compiled solely from Nostalrius official website/sticky'd forums (http://imgur.com/ivOWcGu) so there should not be any illegal and illegitimate addons. Nevertheless, I was still banned as GM Benevael stated my "account compromise was confirmed by admins." I respect the GM's and admin's decision but I still wanted to know from where I was attacked to better prepare myself in case this incident might occur again (http://imgur.com/4XqKa31).

I was referred to GM Viper for details on my attacker's IP and luckily got a response back shortly stating my initial ban reason was a mistake. Rather it was due to me "scamming" someone (https://imgur.com/H16gDuK).

I would like to address that there has never been a time throughout my WoW experience and for others that I have once scammed/stolen/cheated someone via gold/service/any means of trade or items. Items I acquired have been rolled for legitimately and fairly by the game system; I have never changed to Master Loot and/or Ninja'd someone. The services I have provided are low to high level instance runs (5-30G depending on instance level and difficulty)/selling UBRS key openings (10G)/very minor crafting (tips optional). Those services are always and successfully completed and also given discount to some.

The only two times where I had an issue was with a stockade and SM cathedral run. The stockade run done for a NE warrior in his 20's was completed although I had a dispute with him not paying me. The run was successfully and fully cleared once he gave me the remaining gold. The SM Cathedral run I did with a 60 gnome mage (Gnoggin of Molten Core Swimteam) for a Female Human Paladin. Loot was put up for free-for-all and I did not loot anything except some minor silk cloth and grey items. All loot was suppose to be for the paladin. Gnoggin looted a blue chest piece BOE but upon request, he did not relinquish it to the low level. That was out of my control and the paladin hearthed out after she picked up the BOP's from boss. Other than these two situations, there was not once I had a dissatisfied customer.

Any major/minor transactions I have exchanged with other players were again completed smoothly. Of the many people that I can think on the top of my head where I did major transactions are as followed: Akinapple, Axuan, Ceodyn, Tzicil, Sorah, Afcam, Kronilis, Foonie, etc. I can list more if I had my friend list available. They can also confirm I am playing my own character. Ceodyn and Kronilis are some of the many guild members that can support I play my own character as I join TeamSpeak. GM's if you have any doubt, please ask any of the people I named and check ANY of my chat logs. I have always repaid my debts and even given more than that I owed because I know it is difficult to build trust.

Lastly, I completely understand there are days we make mistakes and that we are human but I did not understand how admins (more than one as stated by GM Benevael) confirmed my account being compromised just to be notified by one of the main admins (GM Viper) that it was a mistake. And the second confirmed reason for my ban was something I did not commit.

I came to Nostalrius Begins for its advertised "quality wow vanilla realm" experience from reddit/youtube/etc. I was not disappointed as I played and developed my character. I am pleased with all the work and effort those who maintained and built the server has done for everyone. I know the GM's, Admins, and other staff members do not get paid for their honest and fair services and do this for their love of the game which I completely respect seeing the amount of problems you all have to deal with. However, I see my ban is unjustified and hope that you please reconsider my case.

Again, I am wiling to provide any information to prove my case and uplift my ban. I am an honest and knowledgeable player who hopes that you will offer me the quality experience that was advertised. That is not by any means your obligation but I hope you do so as a fellow vanilla WoW enthusiast and gamer as I am.

Thank you for the time and patience,
Emminent

Emminent is a good player, I run instances with him, we do raids, I speak with him on TeamSpeak. It is always the same person playing. He likes to play the game a lot and has made the server a more enjoyable place for many other players. He is too respectful of a person and has invested too much time in the game to scam anybody. It doesn't make sense to claim that he is scamming after the original entirely unrelated reason was the account got compromised and this was found to be a mistake. Please seriously consider this appeal.

I speak with Emminent whenever i see him online, casual talk and updates on raiding and progression which have all been positive.

He also purchases potions from me and does not request a CoD or even to trade as he sends me his gold first through in-game mail. i have never gotten a scammer vibe from him at all and to wish you best luck on your appeal.

Im officer of Emminent's guild and I have never noticed there was any case of scamming by this player.

We require some grounds of this scamming case.

Oh really? You require it? And just what will you do if they do not provide that information to you? Because there is nothing you can do about it.
