Character name: Monkeynews, PVP Realm

On 13 March 2016 my account was closed. When I contacted a GM in game inquiring as to why I was banned I was told
"Your account was banned due to abuse of major in game bug abuse, if you require more information you will need to PM the Game Master leader Tyrael on the forums."

Upon PMing GM Tyrael he informed me that specifics of the ban will not be disclosed however if I post a public appeal more information may be given.

I am, therefore, posting this appeal looking for elaboration as to why my account was closed.

This account has been banned for major bug abuse. We take the abuse of bugs serously on Nostalrius and a sanction has been applied according to our Terms of Use after investigation. The account with character Monkeynews has been permanently banned for duplicating specific quest items. This ban has been confirmed and will not be lifted.
