Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I logged in today and got hacked, all my gold is gone. I have no clue how something like this can happen as I thought my password is very secure. Is there anything that can be done to restore it? Much appreciated, took a long time to farm. I'm sure you guys have the IP addresses in the database to prove I'm not lying about something this major.

Gamemasters don't recover anything, since account security is your responsibility.

They are also obligated to investigate the case to take appropriate punishments against the one who it did, as well as banning the account that got compromised.

What a complete and utter load of bullshit. They ar not 'obligated' to do anything.

The GMs will not help you out with this. If you wish to keep your account, do not tell them your account name or character name. They permanently ban all compromised accounts.

If your account is being compromised = someone else is logging in to it then it will be banned. This will happen if the hack is ongoing, for example if your account is used for botting or spamming.

In your case you are "lucky" as it appears that they only took stuff and logged out.

You can share a >character name< and what server you play on to give Game Masters info so they can investigate. They will not restore any lost gold or items though.

So what you need to do is change your password immediately and secure your email and computer:

Unfortunately the gold & items are gone, we do not restore these in case of accounts being hacked.

It would be useful to know of anything you can think of that may have caused the compromise however - any websites you went to that might have looked like Nostalrius Begins but acted strangely, whether you shared your account info with anyone else, whether you have an account on any other private server with the same credentials.

You'll need to secure your E-mail, computer & change your Nostalrius Begins password. Note that if it appears like the hack is ongoing, it's possible your account could be banned to prevent further damage. So you should secure it ASAP.

Read the last line of the quote from Game Master for answer to your question.

If players don't report these things the GMs can't investigate where the gold was sent and prevent goldselling.
