Unable to Access Account

Relevant information:
Character: Blindfolds
Server: PvP

Unable to login. Logging in reports that my account has been suspended. This is true for both login servers.

I am unable to login to the website to check ban status per the sticky. It fails to login with 'Error: Bad Credentials.'

I assumed this was a password error, so I reset my password. The Bad Credentials message shows on the reset page, however the link provided by email reports success on password change. I was still unable to login to the website. I have repeated the password reset process via a separate machine, with the same results.

Thus, I am unable to login to any non-forum services to check the status of my account, or figure out why I've been possibly banned.

As far as actions go, I can't think of why. I'm pretty much flat broke (read, haven't broken 15g yet,) I don't share my account, I've been leveling slow, and the only harvesting I've been doing is skinning. I would appreciate some more information on this issue, and I understand it may take some time.

The account associated with Blindfolds on the PvP server has been banned for gold trafficking. If you believe this is in error and would like to appeal, please provide information about recent transactions that may have resulted in triggering the ban. However, if you did in fact buy gold, don't bother as it will be a waste of time.

Navro, try changing your password at https://en.nostalrius.org/password. If you can't get that to work, please make your own thread in this forum rather than posting in existing threads.

Hello Benevael, thank you for your investigation into this matter. I do believe this ban to have been in error and would like to appeal. Unfortunately, I cannot think of any transactions that could have been construed as gold trafficking. I'll list the values and trades as I'm aware of them per character:

Blindfolds - Less than 15 gold in net worth. I have bought and sold things on the auction house - namely gear and drops found leveling. This does include skinning done while leveling. I can only think of one player-direct trade, done in trade for a soulstone for a 60 in STV. This was for 1g. A few gold sent to an alt (see below) to make leveling a bit easier (2? 3?)

Druid (Name unknown - level 10) - Sent money to buy gear on the auction house to make leveling a bit easier.

Orc (level 1?) - Less than 5s net worth. Made to test out some addons I was having configuration issues with. Never got around to deleting. No income or trades.

In summation, due to the very low net worth of the characters on my account, I can't figure out what could have triggered a gold trafficking flag. If any further information could be provided as to the nature of the incident that resulted in the flagging, I would be more than happy to aid in rectifying the matter.
