Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I haven't logged in for a few days, then today when I try to login I get a "This World of Warcraft account has been closed and is no longer available for use."

I'm assuming it's been banned based on a few other posts around here but I can't think of any particular reasons it would be. I'm only level 21, haven't bought/sold any gold(The what, 3s I have to my name should be evident enough), and have been respectful to all the other players I've met. Most of the time I've spent online for the past few times I've been online has just been to write addons and test them, but I feel like that's just part of the overall experience.

Any chance you could shed some light on this? Thanks!

Last Logged in action: I logged in after work, flew from Stormwind to Redridge Mountains, bought some Ice Cold Milk, fished up some Raw Longjaw Mud Snapper's from the lake, cooked them, ran up the mountain to the mill area, killed a spider, then logged out. Nothing sketch from what I can tell.

I was leveling with my guild from retail on the PvP realm, then they all switched to play on the PvE realm (As to be able to catch up, level and gearwise before the release of AQ). So perhaps all the time I've spent online and nothing higher than 21 may have triggered some sort of flag?

I do know I was given 1g in SW when I asked someone for help buying a wand off the AH, then I later gave another player 1g for a port to Darnassus. I spent 1g on the fishing to 225 book in BB. So my total earned currency at this point is likely 6g or so, but my currently held gold value is close to what, 3s? Total worth numbering maybe 2g in items?

I mailed every item I picked up to an alt (Verybank) to sell on the AH later on, but later found that the prices on the AH aren't very indicative of the porported rarity of the items, so I just vendored them all and sent the coins back to my main toon (Anhealer) (If I can recall, it was like 3-4g, if that). I did find a listing of Murloc Eyes on the auction house for mere copper, so I bought all below the threshold and vendored them and made a net of like 6 silver. I may have tried to name my character some odd things out of frustration, but I never -actually- created the characters and entered the world.

Past that, I tell ya I can't think of anything that could have triggered flags. I posted this without checking the website because it's not letting me login there, it's just constantly loading without logging me in. I changed my password and it's still prompting me with "Login failed! Bad credentials.".

I'm seeing the mod addressed topic about website and game login changes, and I'm figuring somehow my account is locked out either due to this, or it's possible I tried my password too many times and broke all the things :3

I micromanaged the heck out of my schedule over this week and tracked down more information to amend to the original post. I hope this is sufficient information to rectify this issue and save me from whatever embarrassment this is. My guild is outleveling me (I've been busy with work this week so my play time has been somewhat limited as-is), and well, I'd just like to be on my merry way to level 60.

Alrighty then, what's the process from here? Surely the Nost staff isn't just banning everyone piping the same tune and leaving it at that? I mean, well, stuff happens. People recycle passwords, their accounts become compromised, and then it's all cleared up and everyone is happy again. Apparently not here? It's possible I played on Cronos or one of these lesser realms that were a source of leaks years ago, but I mean, is that it? "Sorry that the world is unfair, we hope you continue playing so this can happen to you 6 months from now when you have a lot more work on your account."

If the reason is that no one on the Nost team has the time or will to spend reading, verifying, researching, and escalating these bans, then doing followups with a more suitable resolution, just hire more people. I've submitted my application to Tyrael, as should anyone else who wants to better this server and help the struggling and currently overwhelmed Nostalrius core.

Tyrael just replied to a post where the individual was banned under the same exact provisions as me, they had their account compromised. Their ban was lifted and they are able to resume their playing as if nothing had happened. The thread is http://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=39134.
