Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello Nostalrius Community,

Today was a sad day. First I had a long day of work, after that I really wanted to play world of warcraft.
I logged in, choose my character, but something was odd - my character lvl 60 rogue 6/8 T2 Rogue with Chroma in the MaindHand and a DalRend Offhand was completly NAKED.
So I logged in and checked my gear and bags. Everything that could be sold, was sold.

So to conclude: My almost full Tier 2 Rogue that I wasted 60 days of playtime in, got hacked and all my stuff is gone.

Is there any possiblity to get atleast my gear back? Can a GM find out who the hacker was?

Please help me, my whole life was in that character.

To answer some questions in advance: I did not give my account details to anyone. My computer was formatted last month, every AV is updated and I'm not a dumb faggot that opens any suspicious *.exe, *.scr, or a macroinfected word or pdf files. I'm an application developer, nuff said.

The account owner is responsible for the security of the account and that it's sufficiently protected. Note that Nostalrius staff does not recover hacked accounts. You should:

Never share your account information;
Have a unique and complicated password that does not exceed 16 characters;
Connect yourself from a secure computer and network;
Never download unsafe files that might contain viruses/malware.

Nostalrius staff will not recover any lost characters, regardless of circumstances. We do not recover any lost items or currency except raid items with the rarity of Epic and above which can be restored in the case of a Server crash/roll-back

I already told you, I did not give any account details to someone. All my computer is virus and trojan free. I just make sure of that and sniff and trace all packets for a while with wireshark. I'm not infected. Only possibility my account could got bruteforced anyhow.

So, fuck this. I loved Nostalrius but this is fucked up. I wont start to get gear now again. Either I will delete my char.

This is an awful situation and it sucks you were hacked. But please don't take out your anger on people just trying to help.

Yea, I'm sorry. These were some rash words. Is there any possiblity to get a reset on a quest so I can reobtain a pre-bis item that is only obtainable thru a quest?

How did you get hacked? I really wonder since you don't seem technically impaired.

Does any of these things ring a bell to you?
-You created an account on any other private server project, and you used the same account name / password combination
-You installed the game client from a link that wasn't in the official sticky (even if it was somewhere else in the forum)
-You made an account on the Nostalrius bugtracker and used the same password as your game password (The website is Tuleap) (Classic nost and tbc project)

Thanks! I guess I made a bugtracker account last week and yeah, might be similar user + pass.
I had a pretty complex password.

I feel for you. Thats really unfortunate to get hacked like that, damn. It really looks like Tuleap is the source of all these hacks. Tbh I feel like Nost fucked up by embedding Tuleap in their own website, of course we are going to trust it.
