I have a problem when trying to log in. When I try to log into my account it says disconnected after going to connecting and authentication. My husband also cannot login to his account on my computer however my friend can. I can also log into my account on my friends computer and my husbands computer. I don't understand what would cause it for only my friends account to work on my computer and mine to work fine on theirs. I've tried all the solutions. Deleting the WTF folder also DOES NOT create a new one. Even being logged onto my friends account and running around a bit then exiting does not recreate the WTF folder. I have tried changing the realmlist and deleting the WDB folder and making sure the config folder was correct. I even changed my password on the website. However, although my password did change (verified by using my friends and my husbands computer to login) I also cannot login on the website, along with my husbands account. However, just like the client, my friends account will log in. My friend has used my computer to play before this happened, along with my husband. Does anyone know what could be causing it to allow only my friends account to log in on both the website and the client? I can't think of anything that could cause something like this.

Greetings,

Please try changing your password and releasing any IP lock that might be on the account. Let us know in this thread if it doesn't solve the issue. You can change the password at https://en.nostalrius.org/password . The password change utility now allows you to release IP address locks (The abilities to IP lock an account, and to release them via the password change page, are new).

If you are using a 64-bit version of windows, the OS may be using a shadow copy of the WDB folder. Open your Windows Explorer (the file finder), and search for "WDB" in the search box at the upper right. Delete any WDB folder it finds.

To investigate further, we need the name of a character on the account.

Regards, GM Team.
