Credential issues.

My issue is as follows-

I'm able to log into the client and play just fine, account name and password work consistently, in fact i'm leveling right now. The issue that I run into is when I try to login here:

I am attempting to login with the exact same information that I log into the client with. This should put me through to my account, and allow me to change my password. I want to change my password because recently I discovered a keylogger on my computer, and my Steam account was compromised.

This would be fine if I could reset my password through the "I forgot my password" option, but I cannot because it states that my username/email is incorrect. This doesn't make any sense, because I log in with my username and get into the game just fine, and I really only have two primary emails.

The only issue that I could see here is the fact that perhaps I made an alternate email that I have since forgotten and attached it to my Nost account. Only reasoning I could figure that I would create an alternate email is because of the fact that when Nost first launched, I had an account made and an email attached and maybe I got locked out of my account, and had to make a throw away email for this account. Either way, I cannot recover my password and I cannot log into the website for whatever reason.

I know it's not typical for emails to be changed on accounts, but in this situation theres not much I can do unless it's moved to one of my primary email addresses. Or, if the email associated with my Nost account is given to me, perhaps I can try to access it, and get things situated with my Nost account.

The JUST made a change so that you can only sign into web from whatever last IP you signed in on game. Sign out of both, and sign back in both again. If you have anything that messes with IP addresses, that could be an issue.

Right. I've typed up this thread multiple times. In this version I suppose I forgot to include this bit-

I'm aware of the IP address change, and the one login per minute changes I read the announcement. I have tried logging into both multiple times, signing out and back in. My IP was static the whole time and never changed, a whole day later I still cannot log into the website.

I do not run a VPN at all.

If there's something going on with your email addresses, that's a separate issue and one that staff will not help with.

Ah I see you already knew about the recent changes. Don't know then my friend. All I could suggest is sign out of both for some minutes and try a different brower to login to website.

I can access all of my email addresses, especially the primary two that I use. This is the wall that i'm running into, I only have two emails that I use and for some reason the website is telling me that neither is associated with my account.

I do not know if this is an issue on the websites end, or if for some reason that is completely beyond me I used an email address outside of the typical two that I usually use.

Either way, even if they won't help me figure out what email is attached to my account so I can change my password, I still cannot log into the website normally using my credentials. Why would I not be able to log into the website with the same credentials I use with the game? I don't know.

Not blocked by the one login per minute error
Same IP logging into client multiple times, over the course of a day, that is trying to access the website.

You wouldn't have made your account prior to the ability to attach it to an email address, would you have? My original account is in that boat. No one seems to have any idea if there's any resoluton for that.

If that is actually a thing, then yes it's possible. This account was created the day of. or a day directly after launch. If that is the reasoning behind neither of my emails working, then that actually makes a lot of sense.

Still, what absolutely vexes me is my inability to log into the website with the correct credentials. I think the website might be having issues itself, as i've seen other forum posts of people saying they have an inability to log into the website, but can make it into the client.

That's definately a thing. Remember when we started on day one? We just made an account name and ran. There wan't any way to attach an email address. We used to change our PW in game, with the in game command, but that's gone now too...creating this conundrum. You should still be able to log into website with your credentials though, there's just no email address associated with the account.

Hopefully some solution can be offered by a GM when they take a look at my account. Thanks so much for the information!
