Character - Jchu (horde PvP server) i heard u guys goofed pretty hard and banned a bunch of people for no reason.... I havent even played in weeks and I come back to a banned account. ya uhh fix it...

It wasn't "for no reason" or "they goofed".
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=38394If your account was hacked due to poor security protocols, and the hacker did malicious things with it, you were part of the ban wave.

This account was banned because it was compromised as a result of the recent gold seller hack wave. It was in the hands of gold sellers, and we removed it from their hands.
The ban has been placed under compromised account review. The review may take some time to complete. We will get back to you with a determination or more instructions in this thread.

ive basically quit the game at this point but its still a tad depressing knowing all my hours of work are basically null and void. so like am i banned forever or did u guys figure out it was hack/gold selling.

You can help the GM team by resetting your password and doing a malware scan of your computer, however the process to unban the account will take 1-2 weeks and they will be unable to restore any characters or items.
