Locked out of my account

A friend recommended I do ".account lock on" to prevent my account being hacked. Well I reset my modem the next day, and I got a new IP apparently. I'm now unable to log onto my account. I've tried many different methods to fix it, but I can only imagine it's because of my new IP. If an admin can look into this, and unlock my account, it would be much appreciated.
