Account Banned after ban wave

Haven't really been on very much in the past few weeks, and a couple of days ago I logged in to find that most of my gold had been removed (only 7g and some change left) and I checked the forums to find that a bunch of other servers had been breached which explains how my account got hacked.. Is there any chance to appeal this ban? I would have been more urgent with changing my password and such had I been on the forums to see the news. I was also banned sometime after being able to log in to find that my account got hacked so I'm guessing it was part of the gold ban wave. Have been playing on the same IP for a while.
