Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I'm very new to nostalrius. It's actually my first private server and it was great until my account was banned. I made it to level 6 and noticed 2 players while leveling that looked like they were using bottling software. I asked in general chat if bots are allowed and almost immediately disconnected. I tried logging back in and my account was banned.

I wasn't asking if I could use a bot, I was just wondering since I saw a few characters who looked like they were.

Oh my. It sounds like you got an auto-ban for "spamming"!

On Nostalrius it's very easy for character under lvl 15 to get banned for spamming in public chats. This is to prevent, ehhh, spam (goldspam etc). So this is probably why you was banned and if that is the case you will get unbanned after the GMs review your appeal here but it could take a couple of days...

You could wait and see what a GM say and then wait for an decision and/or you could just make a new account (you can use the same email and it's allowed to have more than one account as long as you don't use them at the same time, read about that in ToU).

If you wish to get your account un-banned you need to provide character name and what server you play on (pvp/pve). You can edit your original post so that all info is there when the GM read it.


FYI: Using any bot thingy will get you banned. Same with exploting bugs etc. The GMs are very strict about these things. You can read more aboutthat in ToU: https://en.nostalrius.org/terms-of-use

GM are overwhelmed with work recently, and you might have to wait several days for a response.

Like Wrathran said, you should just make a new account and start over (and refrain from using public channels until level 15)

Thanks for the help. I was only level 6 so not a huge loss or anything. I just wanted to make sure I didnt do something else wrong.
