Banned?

I logged on to the server on Saturday or Sunday after returning from my spring break trip. Everything was normal.

Now 3/22/16 I attempt to log in, only to be greeted with a permanent ban notification.

Would it be possible to explain the reason? I truly have no idea what happened between the weekend and today.

The only thing I can consider that may have looked strange to other players is me and my brother helping each other level lower characters with each of our 60's. We have not multi boxed, used any programs, hacks, or exploits.

So, i'm just curious as to what has happened to force my account to be banned.

Your account was banned for gold trafficking. If you'd like to appeal this ban, please provide information in this thread about what transactions you may have done recently that might have triggered the ban.

If you did in fact buy gold, it saves us all time if you mention that instead.

Hi, thank you for the response.

The only transactions I have knowledge of all went between my character Nastasia (undead rogue) and my brother's character Kngofthetrill (human paladin). My brother has a 60 undead mage on his account named Thedrtyblump who resides in the same guild (earthwalkers) as my character, Nastasia.

There was an initial large sum transaction on the neutral auction house a while back in the amount of ~500 gold (from nastasia) for a random uncommon item that Kngofthetrill (brothers paladin) put up. This was merely to transfer gold from his Undead Mage, who traded it to my Undead Rogue, in order to get it to his Human Paladin.

Other than that, there was a tome of conjure food (~2g?) and nightblade (~4-5g?) that was traded from Nastasia to Kngofthetrill.

I left for my spring break trip on Monday (3/14/16) and returned during the weekend and logged in Saturday or Sunday where everything was fine on my account. If there were any other large transactions that I haven't mentioned, I have no knowledge of them and would think my account was hacked.

That may not be the most helpful thing to say, but it is the truth.

Could you let me know what the result of your investigation turns out to be? Even if my account was hacked, I would like to know. Some closure would be nice. =(
