I'm a 31 year old woman who worked very hard to get my character leveled up. I allowed my younger brother to try out my Druid in hopes he might find the game fun an join me with his own account. As I attempted to log on last night for my weekend play, I saw the account had been banned and immediately placed a post here on the forum. When it was denied, I was puzzled, as I have never nor would ever purchase gold. I confronted my brother who then confessed to having purchased some. Naturally I'm furious having worked so hard to have it taken away. I'd like to ask for a reconsideration on my account. I would willingly give up or destroy the gold he purchased. I simply wish to play my Druid. Having worked hard to level her, starting over would be detrimental and most likely make me quit playing wow/ nostalrius altogether, leaving a bad taste for this game where much love was. Please reconsider. Thank you!

So, you're brother was playing on your account in the hope he'd enjoy WoW and maybe join you - quote from yourself. Then he decided to just buy gold? I find that very hard to believe. One; he's new to WoW, so what use would he have for gold? He doesn't know how/what to spend it on. Two; why would he even buy gold on your account? I know the price of gold and it's not cheap for even 100G.

I'm sorry but this doesn't make any sense, at all. And I think anyone who reads your post and has a shred of intelligence would agree. Best to just make a new account or leave Nost instead of lying to the GM's.

Let's pretend this story is true, but then you will be banned for account sharing instead.

While I appreciate that you two have nothing better to do than post here.... This is the truth. Apparently he got a whisper about gold. He used to play retail, just like I did. And wanted to see if nostalrius was legit. I wasn't aware he couldn't just check it out.... I wasn't going to share my character. But you all are of course welcome to your opinions.

And for the other person.... Being knit picky.... You're twisting my words. I had not intended to share the character.... Only let him use it for a few days to see if he liked the server. I guess I didn't see anything wrong with that. It seems you all have nothing better to do in life but I certainly would appreciate you leaving my post alone. There's no need to be rude. I'm just asking an honest question. So find a life.

The "nolife" people that have given you answers so far are still correct.

You won't get unbanned.

Buying gold is against the rules and letting someone else play your account, even for just 1 minute, is a violation of the rules as well.
