Old Account not able to log in

I am returning after an extended break of Nostalrius (9 months) and now I cannot log in to my account in the client. I have no problems logging in on the website, but I get instantly disconnected after authentication.
I tried to make a new account and I discovered that I could sign in with that account.
Is it in any way possible to move my characters over to my new account or get access to my old account?
My main on my old account was a level 39 priest named Teldacala in the guild <Reinforcement>.
UPDATE
I updated my old password to a longer password. It was 8 characters before, but is now over 12, so now I can log in, so there is no need for any GM interaction anymore. Thanks anyway!
