Account permenatly banned, but haven't played in weeks

I go to get on my account after not playing for a few weeks and find out after a long process of trying to figure out what was going on, I discover my account has been perminately banned. Which is frustratuing, because i don't play enough to have done anything myself wrong, but im assuming after reading all these posts about accounts eing banned for gold trafficing mine must have been used somehow , because I know for a fact that I didn't do anything, and would be damned if I have to start over becasue of something I didn't do. I understnad you're doing your job , but seriously, help me out here.(upon realizing that I posted in the wrong area while trying to figure out why I can't play, i have reposted here in attempts to get this resolved, sorry for the mispost)

This account was banned because it appeared to be compromised as a result of the recent gold seller hack wave.

We have placed the account ban under account compromised review. We will get back to you with a determination in this thread, or further instructions.

Please reset the password on the account from our password reset page, at https://en.nostalrius.org/password and provide a post in this thread when that is complete. This will be required before we can make any status changes to the account.

I have completed the password reset and ready for the next step in the process , thanks for the help!
