Bad Credentials No Matter What?

I've been trying to reset my login so that I can play again, but every time I do and try to login on the website I get a bad credentials error. I am 100% sure I'm using the right User Name as it's sent to me as part of the password recovery. I am also 100% sure I'm using the right password. If I try to login on the server it just says disconnected.
Was my account banned? Is it gone? I haven't played in several months so I'm not sure if it's locked or something else? Not sure what to do from here.

Ah I assume it's related to the login problems they had. At least I'm a bit less worried now. :]
Hope it gets resolved though.

I was scared. I had just downloaded it and this came up. was worried I could not take a trip down nostalgia valley

Greetings,
Try logging into the game first before going back to the login page on the web page.
The web page will only allow logins from the last in-game IP address seen.
Note that you might need to release the country IP lock. This is done from the password reset page.

Hey! So I'm able to log onto the website and the forum but whenever I try to log-in in game I just get the disconnected message. I haven't played since around September and i'm hoping I can find a solution. Was there a patch or something I need to download?

You'll never need to download a patch. What you are describing is unusual.
Can you check your Realmlist.wtf file and make sure it is pointing at Nostalrius?
As another thought, did you recently re-download the client from somewhere?
