Account did not have an email

I still know my username/password for my account... but when i originally signed up, i do not remember putting an email attached with the account. I know 100% my account info, but im just wondering how this will effect me :)

It just means that you cannot reset your password as we cannot send you the new one by email.

So there is no way to ever change the password again?
Asking too because i was using a trash email-address while registering.
I was worried about getting spam-mails back then.
But now when returning i would like to attach a valid email-address to my Nost-Account
and change my password from time to time.
So is there a way to attach a new email-address to an existing account when
username and password are known?

There might be. It would have to be done manually by the administrators and if we allow it for one player, it has to be allowed to every player, meaning that it could potentially be a gigantic black hole of never ending work. The team is discussing it.

Just a random thought, with issues like this (and max. length account name conflicts) Would it not be easier to require users make a new account and have a system to migrate their nost characters to the new account?

Will it be possible to change the password ingame with the command
".account password 'oldpassword' 'newpassword' 'newpassword' "?
Or do you still need a valid email-address to confirm the password change?

That command has been disabled for a long time now. We will not bring it back as while useful for legit players, it also makes it too easy to steal accounts.
