What are they like now, has the hype died down or is there still 400 lvl 1's in each zone ?

The gnome/dwarven one was almost empty last night.
3 players hunting the lvl 1 quest mobs.
Looks like the influx of new PvE players is low at the moment. It was late night, though.

I may have logged in the moment that the server went live, but I'm doing the same thing that you're doing: enjoying the ride. It's been exactly a week, and my main is up to 22 atm. We may have our first 60, and one of my guildies is already 36, but the census addon would probably tell us that the average toon is currently 25 or so as of today.

Just log on and play. There will always be other people. It should be managable at this point.
